Brussels Sprouts

Here's a few of our favourite sprout recipes to get you ready for the festive season!


Celina's recipe

  1. Cut your sprouts in half then pop in the oven

  2. Take them out after 25 minutes; they should look golden with crispy skin and a soft center

  3. Mix one part balsamic vinegar with one part honey (add some salt and pepper)

  4. Drizzle on top, mix and enjoy!





Nannies recipe

  1. Boil your Brussels for roughly 10 mins

  2. Drain them once they slightly tender

  3. Fry some shallots and chopped garlic in a hot pan

  4. Throw in the Brussels and lightly stir fry

  5. Add salt and pepper to taste

  6. Serve with torn mozzarella cheese.



Hommus with roasted Brussels

  1. Place the Brussels sprouts in a bowl and drizzle with a tbsp. of olive oil and a tbsp. of maple syrup, rubbing together to cover the sprouts.

  2. Spread evenly on to a lined baking tray, scattering over a few rosemary sprigs.

  3. Roast for 25 minutes until golden toasted and tender.

  4. Place to one side and let cool.

  5. Drain and rinse a tin of chickpeas, place them along with some olive oil and lemon juice into a food processor and blend until completely smooth.

  6. Once the sprouts have cooled add half of them along with a couple of rosemary leaves in to the food processor. Blend once more until smooth, the hummus will turn a pale green.

  7. Garnish with the left over sprouts and drizzle with oil from the roasting pan.
